In addition to its rare condition, the price offered is also estimated at up to Rp. 100 million. The owner of Genesis Cars Indonesia, who did not want to be named, told about the special features of the Honda NSR 80 HC-06.

"Yes, it's rare to have one, it's a Japanese limited build up too," said Mr. I when contacted by coil (9/2).

Its restored status also makes the value of the Honda NSR 80 HC-06 motorbike even higher, the motorbike has been restored and several components have been updated.

"Yes, it has a full restore, the motor is like new. Yesterday the paint was restored but the striping was still all original, then the carburetor was also replaced so the power is better, "he concluded.

Other parts such as the exhaust and the inside of the engine have also been replaced with new spare parts.

"If the engine spare parts are all new, yes, the motorbike is really good, for the modification part, I used the original Yokota exhaust from Japan yesterday, imported it myself, it was around Rp. 6.8 million," he explained.

According to Mr.I, as written at the beginning, another thing that makes the condition of the motorbike even more special is its very rare status.

"I've heard it said that there weren't 10 units in Indonesia. Yesterday, talking to the previous owner, he confirmed that it didn't reach 10 units," he explained.

Regarding the price, which is in the hundreds of millions, Mr. I said that the target was indeed aimed at motorcycle collectors.

"If a motorbike like this is a hobby, yes, so there are more serious enthusiasts, just make a collection," he said.

View of Honda NSR 80 HC-06

Let's try to briefly review the Honda NSR 80 HC-06, first from the overall design. The first impression, all the typical box motorcycle output of the 90s.

This is most visible from the box-shaped headlamp design with opaque mica made of glass, then the tank, and the rear bonet design.

The fairing design also looks stiff with sharp lines playing, the turn signal model is made separately, at the top of the fairing there is a windshield that is not too big.

The warning sticker in Japanese on the left side of the windshield seems to be authentic evidence that this motorbike came directly from the land of the rising sun.

The color combination game of red and white with a touch of other colors such as blue and green makes the impression of a classic sport fairing motorbike even more thick on this motorbike.

The seat is also a single seat model with a small booster to support the base of the rider's back, enters the back of the stop lamp design and the turn signal is fairly simple with a boxy design.

Valentino Rossi's brother is the fastest in the second day of the Mandalika MotoGP Pre-season Test

Luca Marini closed the results of the second day of the MotoGP pre-season test at the Mandalika Circuit, Saturday (12/2/2022).

The Mooney VR46 Ducati racer broke the time dominance of Brad Binder from Red Bull KTM who was always the fastest in several sessions. Marini recorded a time of 1 minute 31,280 seconds.

The first day of the pre-season test brought the name Pol Espargaro from the Repsol Honda team with a time of 1 minute 32.466 seconds. This record managed to surpass the record of the WSBK rider from PATA Yamaha Toprak Ratzgatlioglu who recorded a time of 1 minute 32.877 seconds. Pol's record time became a reference for other racers to try to record the best time at the new Mandalika circuit.

This target is proven by the faster time records made by the racers. Fabio Quartararo, the 2021 world champion, from the Monster Yamaha team managed to break through 1 minute 31 seconds during the first hour of the test on the second day. The same time record was also made by Alex Rins from the Suzuki Ecstar team. The condition of the track which is fairly humid in the morning makes the time achievement not maximal.

The racers then hit the gas again as the sun shone on Lombok. This makes the confidence of the riders increase and the ability to grip the tires which became the main issue on the first day due to the dirty muddy circuit conditions. If the hot weather continues during the second day, it is possible that the racers will be able to record a break time of 1 minute 29 seconds.

Several drivers were also reported to have fallen while trying to break the time limit faster. Call it Jorge Martin from Pramac Ducati, Joan Mir who is a teammate of Rins and Andrea Dovizioso from WithU RNF Yamaha.

Unfortunately, Mandalika's weather changed again in the middle of the day. Black clouds have been seen hanging over the circuit since 2 o'clock local time which makes many teams worried about the condition of the track being wet and dirty again.

In the last session a new change occurred. Marini burst into the top row after in the last session rose about 10 positions from the achievements in the previous session. Marini's position, 24 years old, is followed by Marc Marquez from Honda and Maverick Vinales from the Aprilia Racing team. Even though there was a new name, the record time had not penetrated 1 minute 29 seconds.

Some drivers are more confident opening the acceleration lever and are getting used to the layout of this circuit. This makes the third day of the pre-season test, Sunday (13/2/2022) even more exciting to look forward to.

First Day Achievements

Valentino Rossi's brother is the fastest in the second day of the Mandalika MotoGP Pre-season Test

The results of the first day were quite promising for Pol Espargaro. The Honda rider was the fastest and was pleased with his performance. He also felt that he could increase his speed in the next test.

"It's important to start well, but this is just the beginning. For sure we are happy with the result and the bike is doing well here. It's fast, fast in one lap and in race pace but this is just the beginning. The times will be much better in the next tests ," said Pol, quoted from Crash.net, Saturday (12/2/2022).

Jack Miller from Ducati also revealed the progress made in the first day of testing. The Australian racer said he was pleased with the advancement of electronic devices to overcome the lack of grip on the tires on a wet track.

"I feel we made a big step with the electronics today, due to the lack of grip. I think we will also face these conditions in Qatar with the dust. It was a very important day for us. It was nice to have corners in 5th and 6th and the number of run-offs. which is spacious, safe like home and a lot of fun. It doesn't look live on TV but turns 7 blind spots, sending the bike there is really fun," said Miller.

About Track Conditions

On the second day, the condition of the track is still a major concern. This is after the track conditions on the first day that disappointed many parties. Like in WSBK, Mandalika's weather conditions often change quickly from heat to heavy rain which makes it quite difficult for the motorbike to prepare to hit the track.

The first day the drivers cleaned the dusty track voluntarily. This is seen as a collaboration between MotoGP riders to stay in action on the first day of testing rather than to cover up the poor preparation of the circuit which is again the question, is the Mandalika Circuit really ready to carry out an international event like MotoGP next March?

The circuit manager has tried to clean the track with an engine but to no avail. A meeting to discuss track conditions was held and finally the riders were asked to complete about 20 laps to clean the track by riding a motorbike at 3 pm.

"We had a meeting to decide whether to try to clean the track with an engine, or ride a motorbike," said Dovizioso.

"Every rider doesn't really want to race because I came out before the meeting and I can't explain how bad it was. But they tried to clear before I came out, at Turns 1 and 2, and I couldn't see the difference between those corners and the others," added Dovi.

Rainy Season, Don't Underestimate Your Car Tire Care

The rainy season has begun to greet most parts of Indonesia. The intensity ranges from low to dense which makes driving in these conditions require extra attention when driving. Driving a vehicle when it rains is different from hot conditions. It takes extra concentration.

One of the factors that play an important role in driving safety in the rain is the condition of the tires. As part of the vehicle that is in contact with the asphalt surface, vehicle owners are obliged to pay attention to the condition of the tires during the rainy season. The vital role of tires includes supporting the weight of the car, controlling the direction of the car on the road and dampening the vibrations received along with the suspension.

Rainy Season, Don't Underestimate Your Car Tire Care
Rainy Season, Don't Underestimate Your Car Tire Care

The type of vehicle that is widely used in Indonesia is the low MPV. Specifically, vehicles such as the Avanza, which has a large carrying capacity, make attention to the condition of the tires requiring extra attention. Moreover, most Avanza owners are first time buyers of four-wheeled vehicles, this requires separate education in tire care.

Well, here are the steps for tire maintenance that need to be done:

1. Check Tire Air Pressure

This is the easiest step. Check tire pressure at least once a week. Tire air pressure in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations ensures that the tread of the car's tires gets optimal grip or treads on the asphalt in the rainy season. Can't be less or more. The right grip makes car tires able to carry out their duties well on slippery roads or waterlogged due to rain.

2. Check Tire Tread

Steps to check the tire tread can be done together with checking the tire air pressure. The depth of the tire tread is indicated by a bulge in the tire groove called the Tread Wear Indicator (TWI). The owner must replace the tire when the mark is parallel to the tread height. The location of the TWI at several points on the tire is an illustration of the level of tire wear. If it is uneven, there may be a problem in the suspension or steering sector.

3. Tire Wall Inspection

Check the tire walls for potential damage such as rips or lumps. There is no tolerance, car tires whose walls are damaged must be replaced with new ones immediately. Usually car tires bulge due to insufficient air pressure and then hit hard objects such as rocks, pavement, and holes so that the tire wall bends causing the thread on the side of the tire to break.

4. Beware of Car Rims

The task of the rim is quite heavy because it supports the performance of car tires. If a problem is detected such as a cracked rim lip, it is almost certain that the car tire has been under very heavy pressure and has the potential to be damaged. A damaged rim also changes the balance of the tire, even if it is too heavy to have to replace the car rim.

5. Car Tire Rotation

Rotation allows all tires to 'feel' the same task so that the tire wear rate is even. In particular, there is a tendency for the front tread to wear out faster because it holds the greatest task when the car is moving. In low MPVs such as the Avanza, the tire rotation process also involves the spare tire because it is the same size as the standard tire. The owner can easily rotate the tires during regular service every 6 months at the Auto2000 repair shop.

6. Spooring and Balancing

Spooring restores the geometry of the entire tire to match the manufacturer's requirements and ensures the car's legs, both suspension and steering, work properly. While balancing balances the four wheels so that they can rotate properly without vibrations that reduce driving comfort. This task should be left to an authorized workshop technician who has modern and complete spooring-balancing facilities.

"Although known to be reliable and tough, it doesn't mean you can ignore Avanza tire maintenance when entering the rainy season. Do a light inspection and make sure the tires are in top condition. For rotation and spooring-balancing, it can be submitted to the Auto2000 workshop staff so that the results are optimal and maintained. Book immediately regular service and take advantage of the Toyota Flexy Service Promo for your favorite Avanza through Auto2000 Digiroom," explained Nur Imansyah Tara, Aftersales Business Division Head Auto2000, in his statement.

One of the things that can be used for tire maintenance is regular service at an authorized repair shop. Auto2000 offers Brake Service Packages starting from IDR 226 thousand, Tune Up Packages starting from IDR 336 thousand, AC Service Packages starting from IDR 215 thousand, and Wiper Set + Wiper Fluid Packages starting from IDR 118 thousand.

Understand the Electrical System to Maintain Your Vehicle

Car maintenance is one of the important concerns of car owners. Current conditions with rainy weather and various uncertain road conditions make traveling requires an important capital, namely a trouble-free vehicle.

Not only a matter of exterior appearance and interior cleanliness but also related to vehicle systems.

According to Rifat Sungkar, Mitsubishi Indonesia's Brand Ambassador, one part that must receive attention is the electrical or electrical part of the vehicle. Although invisible, vehicle electricity is an important part of car performance.

Understand the Electrical System to Maintain Your Vehicle
Understand the Electrical System to Maintain Your Vehicle

"We may often think that a car is electrical, only lights and batteries. In fact, in vehicles, there are four electrical criteria. First, exterior, interior, engine and vehicle safety systems," said Rifat through a virtual conference held by Mitsubishi, Tuesday (14/14/2020). 12/2021).

Rifat provides a brief explanation of each of these electricals. There are two main electrical systems, namely the body harness and the engine harness. Body harness relates to electricity, lights, power steering and sound system. The engine harness relates to the drive that regulates the engine and gearbox. This system is related to the ECU aka the brain of the car.

For interior electrical, used on the inside of the car is part of the body harness. Rifat said that disturbances often occur here because vehicle owners usually make modifications to the audio, add accessories, add chargers and inverters.

"If the electrical engine is in the engine harness category. I recommend that this section please don't be modified because the engine harness system greatly affects vehicle performance. For example, changing the unichip to increase power. I don't recommend it because the control unit manufacturer is in standard conditions to get power and fuel consumption the most optimal," said Rifat.

Fourth is the electrical security system. This relates to its work with the electrical engine. This electrical system is to increase safety and comfort during vehicle use. For example, for active and passive safety on vehicles. Includes hill start assist, electric stability control and cruise control.

During this rainy season, the electrical system can be the most at risk. It needs attention because electrical disturbances such as internal injuries, on the outside it looks good but inside it turns out to be damaged," said Rifat.

Rifat also alluded to the car caught fire due to modifications. According to him, there are several cases that need to be considered because the causes of burning can be different. For example, a car with a front engine is usually when one or two times it passes through a puddle. Damage to the electrical system is not detected and water becomes a hidden danger to electricity because not all cars are ready for this water problem.

Rear-engined cars that are usually found in supercars are different again because of the cause of the fire. Usually because the engine is close to the exhaust, the exhaust overheats and burns the bumper which triggers a fire. So the causes of fires are quite a lot.

"Essentially, if you want to modify electricity, you must understand the risks and what is the purpose of modifying it. For example, for friends who like offroad, he knows that modifying requires a large amount of electricity in the vehicle, so using a large alternator to turn on various additional accessories for outdoor use. inverters are usually used in cars. There is a limit to the inverter that can be used, if you install a large inverter, you want to make heavy modifications. So there is an aspect ratio that must be calculated, "said Rifat.

Tips for Driving Efficient Fuel Consumption, Pay Attention to These 9 Things

Vehicles that are fuel efficient are one of the desires of all of us. But saving fuel, of course, cannot be obtained just like that.

In addition to the condition of the car, the ability of the engine, the way you drive also determines. In addition, fuel prices are increasingly expensive, and the availability of fuel will quickly run out if its use is not considered and saved.

Tips for Driving Efficient Fuel Consumption, Pay Attention to These 9 Things
Tips for Driving Efficient Fuel Consumption, Pay Attention to These 9 Things

There are some light tips that you can do so that your vehicle's fuel consumption can be as efficient as possible.

1. Check Tire Air Pressure

The ritual of checking tire air pressure before driving is often forgotten but it is very important. Not only a matter of safety but also affects fuel consumption. For example, if the tire air pressure is less than a predetermined, the tires will automatically be heavier to support the weight of the car. Moreover, if there are too many passengers in the car, the weight will automatically increase and the car needs more fuel intake to run.

2. Bringing the necessary items

The more items you carry, the heavier the weight and the harder the car is to accelerate. So that your car is fuel efficient, get rid of unnecessary items from the trunk. Transporting goods on the roof is also not recommended because it will cause greater wind resistance and slow down the car

3. Travel Management

If you have more time, it's best to leave early so you won't be rushed on the road. This includes avoiding traffic jams that commonly occur on commonly used roads. Use digital maps to determine the best travel route so that fuel consumption can be reduced.

4. Keep Emotions in the Car

Keeping emotions on the road is mandatory because once they are emotional, the AutoFamily will not be able to regulate their driving rhythm and become aggressive. Not only does the use of gasoline increase, this situation can lead to a commotion or a traffic accident. Do not be provoked by emotions to fight over the road lane or overtake other vehicles so as to increase gasoline consumption.

5. Relaxing and Smooth Driving

After starting the engine, you don't have to wait too long for it to run. Make sure all the necessities, such as etoll cards, wallets, cellphones, and managing audio playlists, are prepared. Leaving the car idle for a long time is clearly a waste of gas.

Drive relaxed and smooth when you step on the gas pedal and let the car go by taking advantage of the momentum. Keep the engine running. Set the right distance to the car in front so you don't have to rush to step on the gas pedal or brake pedal. Follow the existing speed limit. Immediately turn off the engine when stopped for a long time, such as at a mini market or rest area on a toll road. It looks trivial, but if you accumulate it, you will feel the benefits.

6. Use the Right Teeth

Continuously driving a car in low gear or in high gear when crossing hilly or uphill areas will result in excessive fuel consumption. In order for your car to be fuel efficient, it would be nice if you set the right gear, such as the S or L position on an automatic car transmission when the situation is uphill or gears 1 and 2 on a manual transmission car.

7. Change Gears at the Right Moment

For cars with automatic transmission, it is easier to change gear positions because it is regulated by the vehicle system. You just need to drive smoothly to shift gears at low engine speeds, usually around 2,000 rpm. If you are more aggressive by pressing the gas pedal deeper, the gear will shift at a higher speed, thus increasing fuel consumption. Step on the gas gradually.

For cars with manual transmission, shift gears at engine speed of 2,000 rpm less. In this round the car is usually getting enough thrust. When reducing the speed of the car, there is no need to lower the transmission gear too quickly. Leave it until it feels almost exhausted, then shift to a lower gear. Except in certain situations such as when going uphill or wanting to overtake another vehicle.

8. Take advantage of the Eco Indicator Features

New car users can take advantage of the ECO Indicator feature on the car's instrument panel. If you are successful in driving fuel-efficiently, the green indicator light will appear and indicate that you are wise in setting the gas pedal. If you succeed in making the ECO Indicator always on, it means that your driving style is included in the eco driving level.

9. Regular Service Period

Check the air filter regularly. If the air filter is dirty, engine power and efficiency will be reduced and more fuel will be required. So that it will reduce the value of fuel economy that you have. Do cleaning the air filter every time you service the car, if the filter can no longer be used, immediately replace it with the appropriate component.

Well, the easiest thing is to do regular service at an official repair shop. This is to restore the performance of your car engine so that it remains powerful and efficient. This includes ensuring that the supporting components of the car are in top condition. Positively, fuel consumption will not be excessive.

Daihatsu Prints the Highest Market Share Record in History

In early 2022, the condition of the national automotive industry looks promising with positive sales reports.

Even though entering the new year, there is no longer any relaxation of PPnBM with a 100 percent scheme as in 2021, which has boosted four-wheel sales quite a lot.

Daihatsu Prints the Highest Market Share Record in History
Daihatsu Prints the Highest Market Share Record in History

This fact is based on data from GAIKINDO (Indonesian Automotive Industry Association) where the national automotive market has increased by around 45 percent to around 78 thousand units, compared to the same period last year which was only 54 thousand units. In January 2022, there were vehicle segments that dominated the market successively starting from the SUV segment with a contribution of 27 percent, commercial or commercial with 26 percent achievement, MPV at 25 percent, LCGC 16 percent, city car 3 percent and other segments 3 percent.

After reporting the results of product sales in January 2022, Daihatsu again reported that their sales achievement at the beginning of the year had recorded the highest record in history in terms of market share. Daihatsu achieved retail sales of 17,506 units, up 83.7 percent compared to January 2021, which was 9,528 units, which made the Japanese company's market share record 22.3 percent.

Regarding the model contribution, Daihatsu's sales in January 2022 were divided into 2 compositions, with 71 percent of passenger vehicles and 29 percent of commercial vehicles.

Daihatsu's top selling models include the Sigra, which sold 4.9 thousand units or contributed 28 percent of total sales. There are still Ayla as many as 2.4 thousand units or contributing 14 percent, All New Xenia as many as 1.9 thousand units or 11 percent, Terios 1.3 thousand units or 8 percent and Rocky as many as 1.2 thousand units or 7 percent. For commercial vehicle models, there is a Gran Max Pick Up with 3.8 thousand units or 22 percent and followed by a Gran Max mini bus which includes a blind van variant of 1.4 thousand units or 8 percent of total sales.

Daihatsu is grateful to be able to start sales in early 2022 by setting a record for the highest market share in Daihatsu's history in Indonesia. We also appreciate the government's support for the continued PPnBM incentives that have been shown to have significantly increased the national automotive market during 2021," said Hendrayadi Lastiyoso, Marketing & Customer Relations Division Head of PT Astra International Daihatsu Sales Operation (AI-DSO).

The government has indeed announced to continue the PPnBM relaxation program, but as has been said, this year's program is very different from last year's program. There are two categories of vehicles that get convenience, namely LCGC and products with a selling price of Rp. 200 million to Rp. 250 million.

The incentives for the LCGC model are given in the first quarter with a PPnBM tariff of 0 percent, in the second quarter at 1 percent, in the third quarter at 2 percent and in the fourth quarter the PPnBM tariff will be fully charged to consumers at 3 percent. Daihatsu has proposed the Ayla and Sigra LCGC models for this segment with a total of 22 variants that can enjoy this facility.

In the non-LCGC model, the incentives are different. In the first quarter, the PPnBM tariff is given at 7.5 percent and in the second quarter onwards, consumers pay the full PPnBM tariff of 15 percent. In this segment, Daihatsu lists the All New Xenia, Rocky, and Terios models with a total of 29 variants.
