Enea Bastianini proved that the satellite team could be competitive and compete with the factory teams in the elite MotoGP championship. In the French GP series last weekend, he came out as champion after a quick race with Lenovo Ducati racers, Francesco Bagnaia and Jack Miller.
This result made Bagnaia's 3rd victory after previously being on the 1st podium in the Qatar series opener and the United States 2022 series. As a result, the racer from Gresini Racing Team is entrenched in 3rd position in the standings with 94 points.
Bastianini's opportunity to become world champion is also wide open, especially now that there are only 7 MotoGP series and 14 more series remaining until 6 November 2022. The closing series of MotoGP itself will be held at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Spain.
Bastianini explained that competing in world championships requires very thorough preparation in each race period. Not making mistakes in practice, qualifying and racing is the key to winning the world title.
He also said that the victory at the French GP is proof that the satellite team can compete closely with the main factory teams. Bastianini will work hard for the next race series at the Mugello Circuit, Italy and is optimistic about targeting another victory.
"This victory was not easy and this is the result of the hard work of an extraordinary mechanical team whose results we proved together at the Le Mans circuit. Predicting the right moment to "attack" gave Gresini Racing Team a third victory. The Satellite Team also showed a great performance in the match at Le Mans," said the 24-year-old racer.

Gresini Racing Team's 3rd victory could not be separated from the role and support of sponsors. One of them is Antangin, which is claimed to improve health and stamina in the preparation and racing period during the 2022 MotoGP event.
