Honda's positive sales achievements are felt until the first quarter of 2022. PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) reported sales in April last year to record 10,289 units. This achievement was 8 percent higher than the previous March which recorded 9,554 units.
Again, Honda Brio became the biggest contributor to sales last month. Brio achieved a total of 4,914 units of sales. Brio Satya sold 3,628 units and Brio RS 1,286 units. In total, the Honda Brio contributed as much as 48 percent of Honda's total sales in April 2022.
Other models follow the All New HR-V and All New BR-V, two of Honda's newest models which were also introduced this year. The HR-V, which was introduced on March 23, 2022, contributed 18 percent with sales of 1,892 units. The latest BR-V also contributed 18 percent to sales of 1,811 units.
Several other models also contributed to Honda's sales last April. Call it the New Honda CR-V with a total of 775 units, City Hatchback RS as many as 435 units and Mobilio as many as 304 units. The interesting achievement of Mobilio, which is now offered is only one variant with a manual transmission and is targeting the fleet market.
Other models are Honda sedans such as the New Honda Accord which sold 66 units, the All New Honda City with 48 units and the All New Honda Civic RS with 42 units.
Yusak Billy, Business Innovation and Sales & Marketing Director of PT HPM, said that consumer demand was quite high during the Lebaran holiday. In addition, the increasing community activity at this time also supports the increase in sales last April.

This sales growth is in line with Honda's steps which also continue to introduce new products. Prior to last Eid, Honda introduced the update to the Brio RS Urbanite. The most visible change in the latest Brio RS Urbanite is the presence of a tailgate wing spoiler which makes it even more sporty. Other surgery is the Matte Black alloy rims, as well as the Urbanite emblem on the back as a standard variant surgery.
Honda also offers two new colors, namely Taffeta white two tone and Crystal Black Pearl to complement the two colors that were previously present, namely Phoenix Orange Pearl two tone and carnival yellow two tone. The Urbanite edition also still includes a front Under Spoiler, a rear Under Spoiler with a diffuser for a sporty look. In addition, the black mirror housing with LED lights and black door handles complements it.
In the City Hatchback model, now gets the addition of Honda Sensing. These advanced features consist of the Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Auto High Beam.
