Suzuki Saluto Design

Looking at the overall design saluto does have a different DNA to most Suzuki sticks. The design is slightly similar to the vespa motorcycle style. Starting from the shape of the headlights, body and front tie, to the curves of the body that is squinting at the stern.

The pull of the Saluto line is fairly elegant although not too rounded classic retro motorcycle style. This stick is more appropriately referred to as a modern retro with a touch of fairly sharp lines.

For information, this classic retro-style motorcycle visual is indeed designed directly by famous Italian designer, Alessandro Tartarini. He has made designs from Lambretta, Italjet Dragster, Brutus, and others.

Specifications of Suzuki Saluto

Suzuki Saluto carries a 124 cc, 1-cylinder engine, liquid coolant, injection mixer, with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology that is claimed to be able to compensate for performance and fuel efficiency.

The pacemaker can produce a maximum power of 9.2 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 10 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The output is channeled to the rear wheels via CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) transmission.

Features of Suzuki Saluto

Speaking of features, Saluto is equipped with a keyless key. Then the seat has also used a pop up model so that it makes it easier for riders when opening the lid. Then there is also a USB 5V2A type charging dock that supports fast charging.

The lighting system already carries full LED technology, both in headlights, taillights, markers, and DRL as sweeteners. Oh yes, the meter panel in Saluto uses a combination analog and digital model.

Where the speedometer is analog while the BBM pointer, tripmeter, and others are digital. Dashboard backlights use a light sensor that can automatically adjust the brightness intensity to make it easily visible and dimmed slightly at night so as not to dazzle, cool!

In Taiwan this motorcycle is sold with a price tag of around TWD 78,000 or equivalent to Rp 40.3 million. If later sold in Indonesia with import status, the price will certainly be eroded according to the cost of import duties. But it will be competitive if Saluto can be produced domestically.

Interesting to wait for the presence of Suzuki Saluto in the Indonesian market. Are you the one looking forward to it?
