Quoting the official website of Yamaha Taiwan, 'EMF' is a paraphrase of the Electro Motive Fighter designed with 3 main pillars namely Exciting (fun), Strength (strength), and Beyond (exceed). The visuals are quite interesting because they resemble a concept.

By design, Yamaha EMF comes with a compact body shape. On the front has a kind of mini-sized fairing coupled with the use of the handlebars of naked models aka naked. The main lamp is also interesting, he applies floating projector models that reinforce his futuristic design.

Looking from the side, this stick has a boxy body shape. But in order not to monotone the design team added it with some firm line pulls. As a result, the look of the EMF looks fierce quite different from most electric scooters which lead to elegant visuals.

The stern is also consistent with the all-sharp style, the rear lights have carried 2 pieces of round LED technology whose position is placed in a stacked manner. While the placement of the lamp is fused with the rear body, there are no more sein light stalks like in most motors.

Design these motorcycle legs using mini 10-inch alloy wheels with a tire profile that looks gambot. The front suspension uses a telescopic type combined with a double suspension on the back.

Specifications of Yamaha EMF

Yamaha EMF uses pure electric drive which claims to produce maximum power equivalent to 10.3 PS in 3,000 rpm engine rotation and peak torque of 26 Nm at 2,500 rpm. The output is quite gahar for a stick with electric technology.

The manufacturer claims, with the electric design EMF is able to run from a stationary position to 50 km / h in just 3.5 seconds. The power generated from the dynamo is channeled directly through the chain components to the rear wheels.

Well to compensate for this performance, this electric scooter is equipped with advanced braking. In front for example, it has embedded disc brakes measuring 200 mm with 1 radial caliper 4 pistons. As for the back supported by braking 1 caliper 2 piston 190 mm.

But unfortunately from the official yamaha taiwan website information does not explain the detailed specifications related to batteries, electric dynamos, or controllers used. It's just that this motor uses 2 units of batteries as its power supplier.

Features of Yamaha EMF

In addition to the display and performance sold, Yamaha EMF is equipped with several advanced supporting features. In addition to LED lighting, this motor already uses a full digital meter panel, Y-Connect connectivity technology, power modes (3 options), and an NFC system to power the vehicle using the card.

To maximize the look, Yamaha Taiwan also prepares some official accessories that can be selected by consumers. But the parts are sold separately ranging from the front side body shield, front flap, body deck, to the recorder camera like dashcam in the car.

In Taiwan, Yamaha EMF is presented in 3 color options, namely blue dongker, green, and black. The order has been opened and will be delivered in March 2022.

It's exciting to see his arrival to the country. It could be the launch of the Fazzio Hybrid some time ago as a bridge before finally Yamaha Indonesia really shows a pure electric motor. You interested?
