New Toyota Voxy was officially introduced, Thursday (17/2/2022). This third-generation MPV has received significant changes compared to its older model and is expected to become the flagship model in the high-roof MPV segment from Toyota.
All New Voxy offers the Pleasant Voyage tagline that prioritizes comfort for travel. President Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), Susumu Matsuda, said that the presence of the All New Voxy was Toyota's answer to presenting Ever Better Car. This includes safety technology that can be felt by Indonesian people in daily driving.

The model from the exterior does look more premium. The front grille with the use of horizontal stripes is still used like the previous model but on the side grille it reminds of a luxurious Lexus design. The change in the shape of the thinner headlamp also makes this MPV look more modern, not forgetting the presence of DRL on the hood which emphasizes the luxurious proportions of this MPV.
The latest Voxy brochure also shows the dual sliding door feature with kick sensor which is presented for easy entry into the cabin. This makes it easier for passengers to enter by simply moving their feet to the sensor section to open the door on both the left and right sides. The ease of opening the door is also present at the back with the presence of a power back door with side button where passengers can adjust the height of the latest Voxy rear door opening.

The interior design is also refined. Still using materials with dark colors, the interior looks luxurious. Although the seats are still made of fabric, there is a touch of leather present on the door trim that doesn't take away the impression of the latest Voxy premium. In addition, the seats can also be adjusted more freely to suit the needs of passengers. One of them is the sofa mode that connects the second and third row seats and the bed mode to rest after a long journey.
Another interesting feature is the presence of an 11.6-inch entertainment screen on the roof for the convenience of second-row passengers. The latest Voxy also gets wireless charging, panoramic view monitor and electric parking brake with auto brake hold feature. The modern impression comes from the 7-inch TFT meter cluster screen and the head-up display to view vehicle speed information.
Regarding the engine, Voxy uses a new 1,986 cc M20A-FK5 engine with 170 ps power at 6,600 rpm and 20.6 kg of torque. m at 4,900 rpm. This machine is offered with a CVT transmission which is claimed to be more comfortable and fuel efficient.
The All New Voxy also gets a touch of Toyota Safety Sense for safety. There is a pre-collision system, lane tracing assist, dynamic radar cruise control, auto high beam, blind spot monitor and SRS Airbags throughout the cabin. This ability certainly makes Voxy safer to drive with semi-autonomous driving capabilities.
As Toyota's newest product, Voxy has also received T intouch service. This is an internet-based service that connects vehicles with their owners via an application. In this feature, vehicle owners can also experience several features such as vehicle info, vehicle tracing, geofencing, find my car, e-care maintenance and road assistance. There is also a 24-hour support center service for convenience during the trip.
The All New Voxy is offered in White pearl, glitter black, sparkling black pearl, and metal stream colors. Especially for the sparkling black pearl and metal stream colors, they get special treatment with an indent time of up to three months depending on the factory conditions.
Toyota gives a tag of IDR 558.2 million for the Voxy which is offered in one variant.
