Federal Oil Praises Enea Bastianini Wins at French GP

 For the third time, Enea Bastianini, the Federal Oil Gresini Racing driver, has made Indonesia proud again. This time he managed to carve a stunning achievement in the French MotoGP, Sunday (15/5). Starting from fifth position, this Italian rider appeared tactical and raced to lead the race to the finish. But the struggle to reach the first podium is not easy. He received a fairly tight resistance from the Lenovo Ducati team racer.

This is the third win for Enea Bastianini. Previously he had climbed the top podium in MotoGP Qatar and America. At the de la Sarthe circuit, aka the Le Mans circuit, he devoured 27 laps with a time of 41 minutes 34.613 seconds.

"I'm happy with the results of this race, because the start of the race week was very confusing and I even crashed a few times. But in the race everything went smoothly, seeing that all the riders were so close and had to be patient behind," said Bastianini.

"Once there was an opportunity, I used it to overtake. Finally being able to win this race, an award for the team that has worked hard because it has prepared the best bike," added the rider who uses number 23 on the Ducati Desmosedici GP21 motorbike.

While his teammate, Fabio Di Giannantonio, who finished in 13th position was his best result in the inaugural season in the 2022 MotoGP class. The racer who is familiarly called Diggia pocketed his first 3 points.

"Finally, I got a real race. We fought from start to finish and now we start fighting in MotoGP. It's a shame for a small problem in my right arm, which prevented me from having full strength in the joint for the whole race. But we did well. : overtaking a lot of riders, so I come back to Italy in a happy mood,” Diggia believes.

The victory won by Enea Bastianini received positive attention from Sri Adinegara, Market Development Director of PT ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia (PT EMLI). "An extraordinary race result for Enea Bastianini who was able to win for the third time and Fabio Di Giannantonio won the first points in the inaugural MotoGP 2022 season. This achievement certainly makes Indonesia proud, where Federal Oil also supports the Gresini Racing MotoGP team," he said.

Ri Adinegara emphasized that this victory also reduced Enea's points in the race for the 2022 MotoGP World Champion. "Hopefully, in the next series at the Mugello circuit, the two drivers can show their potential to make Indonesia proud again," he added.

In the provisional standings of the 2022 MotoGP World Champion, Enea Bastianini is in third position with 94 points, 8 points adrift of the top title holder, Fabio Quartararo who has 102 points. While Diggia is in position 22 has 3 points.
